Hi,

I’m Lucy. I am a very lucky little Mexican rescue dog.

My parents have discovered that I am a Havanese, minus one eye and a tail. There is a story there but I’m saving it to tell another day.

I’ve been living in luxury in Canada for the better part of 4 years now. What a lucky dog! My first “forever” home didn’t work out so well for me. I admit that I made it difficult by running away a couple of times. But, really…kids??? Not for me.

My new forever home is absolutely wonderful. My parents love me. They saved my life when I got sick with Ehrlichiosis which made me extremely ill. Apparently I am now a VERY expensive dog but worth it.

My parents think I am a funny little dog. They laugh every morning when they take me for my constitutional and see my little bum and my little hobbit feet as I run to check the “mail” here and there, so I thought I would start writing about my life and my perspective of the world around me.
